Shore Power for Ocean-going Vessels

Compliance Outreach: October 3, 2012 Long Beach Meeting and October 9, 2012 Oakland Meeting

California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has scheduled two public meetings to discuss the implementation of the Airborne Toxic Control Measure For Auxiliary Diesel Engines Operated On Ocean-Going Vessels At-Berth In A California Port ("At-Berth Regulation"). At the public meetings, staff will be available to discuss upcoming requirements of the At-Berth Regulation that become effective between July 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014. Compliance calculations will be fully discussed including a presentation on an ARB developed optional Shore Power Compliance Tool, which uses Excel and Access programs.
