| Heavy-Duty diesel vehicles are one of the largest source categories for oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and particulate matter. This project demonstrated a natural gas injector technology on three diesel transit buses. Prototype natural gas fuel injector systems were fabricated and installed. Performance, durability and reliability were evaluated during this demonstration period, and emissions were tested. Westport has since partnered with original equipment manufacturers to market their technology. | ||||||||
