2010 Amendments to Tables of MIR Values
September 3, 2010 -- Final Regulation Order: Amendments to Tables of MIR Values
On September 2, 2010, California's Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved rulemaking for "Amendments to the Tables of Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR) Values”, and filed this with the Secretary of State. The rulemaking will become effective on October 2, 2010.
April 26, 2010 -- Second 15-day notice: Amendments to Tables of MIR Values
We have posted a second 15-day "Notice of Public Availability of Modified Text and Availability of Additional Document" to the "Amendments to the Tables of Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR) Values”.

November 3, 2009 -- Public Hearing: Amendments to Tables of MIR Values
The ARB will hold an Executive Officer hearing to consider amendments to the Tables of MIR Values, at Cal/EPA's Sierra Conference Room, 1001 I Street, Sacramento. The hearing will start at 9 AM. Staff proposes to revise the table of Maximum Incremental Reactivity (MIR) values for existing reactive organic compounds, and add new compounds with MIR values associated, into section 94700 of title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR). Staff also proposes to modify MIR values for bins of hydrocarbon solvents, in section 94701 of title 17, CCR.
August 4, 2009 -- Public Workshop on Adoption of New MIR Values
The ARB will hold a workshop to discuss proposed amendments to tables of MIR (reactivity) values for VOCs, at ARB’s Monitoring & Laboratory Division building, 1927 13 Street Sacramento.
