Air Pollution Mitigation Approaches in Germany

Dr. Axel Freidrich will talk on measures to reduce PM10/PM2.5 and how to measure very low particle emission rates, in addition to indoor air quality mitigation, lube oil formulations that reduce emissions, removing PAHs from tires, public information and outreach programs, and other mitigation approaches used in Germany.
     
Dr. Axel Freidrich is the Head of the Environment and Transport Division at the Umweltbundesamt (German EPA) and is the single person most responsible for progress in the European Union on motor vehicle and other controls.
