Background:

Exceptional events, including wildfires, can impact the air quality over a large area and are beyond regulatory controls. ARB has become aware that the following large wildfires (over 300 acres) may have contributed to higher than normal particulate matter concentrations in some regions.

This list is for informational purposes only and does not include all fires occurring in the State of California. Actual extent of wildfire impacts will vary; the list of regions noted below as being impacted may be incomplete.
