This page updated August 20, 2008.

Course #271: Stationary reciprocating engines are used widely for power generation, gas compression, and many other purposes. They are also a significant source of air contaminants and as such are the focus of increased regulation. This course covers reciprocating engine operating theory, both standard and "cutting-edge" emission control technologies, regulations, permit conditions, and inspection procedures.
