| This course provides practical information for conducting fugitive VOC inspections at petroleum refineries, chemical process facilities, and fuel storage and marketing facilities. The course covers the types of process equipment that may exhibit fugitive leaks (valves, pumps, PRVs, etc.), reviews leak detection and repair (LDAR) regulations and standards, and discusses compliance monitoring, record keeping, and recording requirements. In addition, portable leak detection instruments are discussed in considerable detail, and students will have an opportunity to use one or more of these instruments at a regulated facility. Note: The primary audience for this course is air quality compliance inspectors. |
