This one-day course is designed for environmental regulators who are interested in the NEW regulations of the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for Chromium Plating and Chromic Acid Anodizing Facilities. Classroom discussion will focus on the electroplating process, emission controls, and the inspector’s role in verifying compliance with local air district rules and the ATCM. Students will also visit a chrome plating operation at a local permitted facility during the afternoon field visit.
