This Introductory workshop offers a one-day training primarily designed for new
hearing board members,
district staff and board clerks whom may have little or no experience in the variance /
hearing board arena.
This workshop offers basic instruction along with open discussions regarding variance and
hearing board mandated
statutes which include state requirements for noticing, making the required six findings
for the grant of
a variance, and specific roles within the variance process. This workshop is taught by ARB
Enforcement and
Legal staff.
6.25 Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credits are available for State Bar
members.
