This three-day workshop focuses on state-wide training for air district permit services staff. Day one focuses on common stationary sources and controls and provides an overview of the permitting process including New and Modified Source Review (NSR), BACT review, Offsets and ERCs, Title V and Federal NSR. Participants will also be introduced to common prohibitory and source specific rules as well as New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS). Day two focuses on application review and effective permit writing, risk management, state-wide control programs and compliance considerations. Day three focuses on advanced topics like CAM, HARP (Hotspots Analysis and Reporting Program) risk management training for senior air district permit services staff.
