| This one-day course provides training in fugitive emissions monitoring procedures for technical field staff at refineries, marketing terminals, and oil and gas production facilities. Topics covered include: component identification and counting; performance quality assurance for portable hydrocarbon analyzers; preparing portable hydrocarbon analyzers for field use; component screening procedures; factors affecting accuracy of measurements; and emissions inventory overview. The course will assist fugitive monitoring operators in following uniform and consistent methods statewide. Successful completion of this course will satisfy one of the requirements for operator certification at air pollution control districts that require such certification. |
