ARB has developed Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) standards for vapor recovery systems using Aboveground
Gasoline Storage Tanks (AST). On May 2, 2008 the Board approved Certification Procedure CP-206,
which describes the procedure for evaluating and certifying ASTs, Standing Loss Control, Phase I and
Phase II vapor recovery systems, and components used at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDF).
At the same time Test Procedures TP-206.1, TP-206.2, and TP-206.3 were certified in regards to
determining compliance with AST EVR system performance standards.
EO VR-301-A: Certification of OPW, Modern Custom Fabrication, and Steel Tank Institute as standing loss control vapor recovery systems for existing AST installations. IOM for existing ASTs. EO VR-302-A: Certification of Modern Custom Fabrication, and Steel Tank Institute for standing loss control vapor recovery systems for new AST installations. IOM for new ASTs.
