Background
The ARB evaluates and tests new or modified vapor recovery systems. These systems recover the gasoline vapors generated while fueling vehicles in a service station. The goal of the program is to assure that the vapor recovery systems which meet the stringent certification requirements are certified expeditiously.

Frequently Asked Questions Pertaining to EVR Requirements for GDFs Equipped with Aboveground Storage Tanks
The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) portion of ARB’s Vapor Recovery Program webpage has been updated to include a new section dedicated to the implementation of Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) requirements for gasoline dispensing facilities equipped with aboveground storage tanks. This new section consists of four sub-categories including: standing loss control, Phase I, Phase II, and E-85.

Future of EVR Program
The California Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) staff is holding three public workshops to discuss a draft regulatory proposal for amendments to the Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) program for Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDFs).
