* Data for year and region are preliminary and subject to further review.

** The number of exceedance days equals the number of distinct days on which the relevant standard was exceeded at any monitoring site in the region.  If the standard was exceeded at more than one site on a given day, it only counts as one exceedance day for the broader region.

*** The 8-hour maximum concentration is calculated using the federal method. Fed Stds truncate 4 digit 8-Hr avg. data to 3 decimals; State Stds round to 3 decimals.

**** The federal 8-hour design value is based on the "three year average" of the annual 4th high.

***** The Sacramento Metropolitan Area includes Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, Yolo-Solano Air Pollution Control District, the southern third of Feather River Air Quality Management District, and all of El Dorado and Placer Counties except for that portion in the Lake Tahoe Air Basin.

****** The Lake County Air Quality Management District is a non-real time data stream that will be updated monthly.

******* The Sacramento Valley-Sutter Buttes site is a seasonal monitoring site (May through October only).
