Public Meeting to Update the Board on the Implementation of the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (Assembly Bill 32) and the Climate Change Scoping Plan
Staff will update the Board on the implementation progress of the Scoping Plan measures as well as various climate change program outreach activities.

10-4-2 Public Meeting to Update the Board on the Regulation for In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicles (Off Road Regulation) and the In-Use On-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation (Truck and Bus Regulation)
Staff will update the Board on the off-road regulation, including an assessment of 1) the effect of the current recession on emissions from fleets subject to the regulation, using available information including reporting data submitted to the Diesel Off-Road On-Line Reporting System (DOORS), and 2) the Associated General Contractors (AGC) emissions inventory modeling analysis presented to the Board in December 2009.  In addition, staff will summarize the March 11 Executive Officer hearing concerning the need for further amendments to the off-road regulation.  Staff will also update the Board with the latest information regarding the recession’s effect on emissions from fleets subject to the truck and bus regulation. Finally, staff will brief the Board on potential changes being considered to both regulations.
