Public Meeting to Provide a Status Report on new United States Environmental Protection Agency Requirements for Near-Roadway Monitoring of Nitrogen Dioxide

Staff will present to the Board information on new near-roadway monitoring requirements for nitrogen dioxide that were adopted earlier this year by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Staff will present to the Board a proposed regulation requiring large industrial facilities to provide information to ARB on energy usage, emissions, potential energy efficiency improvement projects, and greenhouse gas and pollutant co-benefits if the identified improvement projects were implemented.

Staff will update the Board on progress in the Western Climate Initiative regional greenhouse gas emissions reduction program.

Although no formal Board action may be taken, the Board is allowing an opportunity to interested members of the public to address the Board on items of interest that are within the Board’s jurisdiction, but do not specifically appear on the agenda.  Each person will be allowed a maximum of three minutes to ensure that everyone has a chance to speak.
