Staff will present to the Board the proposed Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Funding Plan for Fiscal Year 2011-12, which provides staff's recommendations for allocating the $40 million of AQIP project funding in the Governor's proposed budget. Staff recommends directing most of the AQIP funding to continue incentives for the purchase of new hybrid trucks and buses and zero-emission passenger cars. The remaining funding would be allocated to advanced technology demonstration projects.
