01-9-1 | Public Hearing to Consider the Adoption of a Regulation to Establish a Distributed
Generation Certification Program and a Guidance for the Permitting of Electrical Generation Technologies As required by Senate Bill 1298, the ARB staff will propose emission standards and certification requirements for electrical generation technologies (distributed generation technologies) that are exempted from air district permit requirements, and will provide guidance to the air districts on the permitting of electrical generation technologies that are subject to their regulatory jurisdiction. |
01-9-2 | Public Hearing to Consider the Adoption of Amendments to the Low-emission
Vehicle Regulations, Including Particulate Standards for Gasoline Vehicles, More Stringent Emission Standards for
Fuel-fired Heaters, and Administrative Revisions Staff will propose amendments which would require gasoline vehicles to meet particulate matter standards currently applicable only to diesel vehicles, require fuel-fired heaters used in zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) to meet super-ultra-low-emission vehicle (SULEV) standards at 40°F and require vehicles capable of operating on more than one fuel to certify to the SULEV standards on both fuels in order to receive partial ZEV credits. This proposal includes a number of administrative amendments designed to facilitate the certification of clean vehicles in California. |
01-9-3 | Public Hearing to Consider Amendments to Title 17 of the California Code
of Regulations (CCR), Section 94006 - Defects Substantially Impairing the Effectiveness of Vapor Recovery Systems
Used in Motor Fueling Operations Staff will recommend that the Board amend this regulation to include defects not previously listed. Identification of any defect listed would require the district to remove the associated component from service. |
01-9-4 | Public Meeting to Consider Research Proposals Proposal No.2502-222, entitled "Development and Application of Ambient Aerosol Concentrators to Conduct Health Effects Studies in the Los Angeles Basin," submitted by the University of California, Los Angeles, for an amount not to exceed $1,200,000. Proposal No.2503-222, entitled "Improved Reactivity Estimates for Volatile Organic Compounds Used in Architectural Coatings," submitted by the University of California, Riverside, for an amount not to exceed $240,102. |
