| Description | The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) will hold two staff-led public webinars to receive input from interested persons concerning the identification of public water systems and domestic wells “at-risk” of failing to provide safe drinking water. The Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience Drinking Water Program (also known as SAFER) is a comprehensive set of tools, funding sources, and regulatory authorities designed to help struggling water systems sustainably and affordably provide safe drinking water to their customers and meet the goals of safe drinking water for all Californians. These meetings will occur via remote presence only as a result of the COVID-19 emergency and the Governor’s Executive Orders to protect public health by limiting public gatherings and requiring social distancing.
