REGULATION IV - FEES
RULE 4.11 - AGRICULTURAL BURNING FEES
(Amended 7/11/95)
a. No permit shall be issued and no open burning or burning of agricultural crop waste shall be conducted unless the following fees have been submitted to the District:
1.
Orchard prunings | $.50 per acre |
Field Crops other than rice | $.75 per acre |
Rice | $.85 per acre |
In addition to the above fees there shall be a $5.00 base fee charged to each grower entity.
I. For the purpose of this rule, a grower entity shall be the grower and the related fields as listed on a restricted materials permit as issued by the county agricultural commissioner.
b. There shall be an annual agricultural burning program review conducted by the District to determine workload levels and cost recovery. The review shall be presented to the District Board during the annual budget review process.
