(Adopted: February 1, 1977)

The following rules were in effect when the San Bernardino County Desert Air Pollution Control District was formed on February 1, 1977. These rules have been declared to still be in force by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board. This is due to the fact the rules are still part of the State Implementation Plan. The Rule 67 emission limit is retained and is applicable only to existing sources already granted a permit by May 19, 1982. Rule 68 is in force and applies rather than Rule 474 which was disapproved by the EPA because it relaxed emission limits.
