If any portion of this rule is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such finding shall have no effect on the validity and enforceability of the remaining portions of the rule, which are severable and shall continue to be in full force and effect.

(I) Tuning Procedure

1 This tuning procedure is based on a tune-up procedure developed by KVB, inc. for the USEPA.

2 The smoke-spot number can be determined with ASTM test method D-2156 or with the Bacharach method.

3 Typical minimum oxygen levels for boilers at high firing rates are:
