HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM CONTROL FROM CHROME PLATING
AND CHROMIC ACID ANODIZING FACILITIES


RULE 2-600 - COMPLIANCE SCHEDULE

(a) DECORATIVE CHROME PLATING FACILITIES

  1. No later than April 6, 1990, the owners or operators of decorative chrome plating tanks must comply with the provisions of Rule 2-400(a)(1).


(b) HARD CHROME PLATING AND CHROMIC ACID ANODIZING FACILITIES

  1. No later than October 6, 1990, the owner or operator of a hard chrome plating or chromic acid anodizing facility subject to Rule 2-400(b)(3) and (b)(5) shall submit to the District Air Pollution Control Officer an application for an Authority to Construct the equipment necessary to meet the requirements of this Rule, and no later than April 6, 1991, the facility shall be in compliance with all the requirements of Rule 2-400(b)(3).

  2. No later than April 6, 1991, the owner or operator of a hard chrome plating or chromic acid anodizing facility subject to Rule 2-400(b)(4) shall submit to the District an application for an Authority to Construct the equipment necessary to meet the requirements of this Rule, and no later than October 6, 1991, the facility shall be in compliance with all the requirements of Rule 2-400(b)(4).

  3. No later than April 6, 1993, the owner or operator of a hard chrome plating or chromic acid anodizing facility subject to Rule 2-400(b)(5) shall submit to the District Air Pollution Control Officer an application for an Authority to Construct the equipment necessary to meet the requirements of this Rule, and no later than October 6, 1993, the facility shall be in compliance with all the requirements of Rule 2-400(b)(5).
