RULE 213 - STORAGE OF GASOLINE PRODUCTS
(Adopted: September 11, 1991)

  1. Submerged Fill Pipe

    No person shall install or maintain any stationary gasoline tank with a capacity of 250 gallons or more which is not equipped for loading through a permanent submerged fill pipe.

  2. Exemptions to Subdivision (1)
  1. Storage tanks installed prior to December 31, 1970.
  2. Storage tank is a pressure tank, floating roof tank, or tank equipped with a vapor recovery system.
  3. Storage tanks used primarily for fueling implements of husbandry, as such vehicles are defined in Division 16, Chapter 1, of the Vehicle Code.
