          100 GENERAL

              101  PURPOSE:   To  establish  fees to be charged for Hearing
                   Board filings.

              102  EXEMPTIONS:  The Air Pollution Control Officer shall not
                   be required to pay the fees  specified in Section 301 of
                   this rule.

          300 STANDARDS

              301  HEARING  BOARD FEES:  Every petitioner  to  the  Hearing
                   Board  for  an  emergency  variance,  interim  variance,
                   90-day variance, regular variance, or for the extension,
                   revocation  or  modification  of  a  variance  or for an
                   appeal  from  a  denial  or  conditional approval of  an
                   authority to construct or permit  to operate shall pay a
                   fee of $225 at the time of filing the petition.

              302  TRANSCRIPT FEES:  Any person requesting  a transcript of
                   a hearing shall pay the reasonable cost of preparing the
                   transcript.

          400 ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS

              401  COST OF ADMINISTRATION:  It is determined  that the cost
                   of  administration  of  Article  2,  Chapter 4, Part  4,
                   Division 26 California Health and Safety  Code  or  Rule
                   601  of  these  Rules  and  Regulations exceeds $225 per
                   petition.
