construction, reconstruction, or modification after June 11, 1973:
pot furnaces of more than 250 kg (550 lb) charging capacity, blast
           (cupola) furnaces, and reverberatory furnaces.

                RULE 260.121. DEFINITIONS

As used in this subpart, all terms not defined herein shall

                (a) "Reverberatory Furnace" includes the following types of
reverberatory furnaces: Stationary, rotating, rocking, and
           tilting.

                (b) "Secondary Lead Smelter" means any facility producing
lead from a lead-bearing scrap material by smelting to the metallic
           form.

                (c) "Lead" means elemental lead or alloys in which the

(cupola) or reverberatory furnace any gases which:

                    (1) Contain particulate matter in excess of 50 mg/dscm
               (0.022 gr/dscf).

                    (2) Exhibit 20 percent opacity or greater.

               (b) On and after the date on which the performance test
