RULE 7011 - HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM - DECORATIVE AND HARD CHROME PLATING, CHROME ACID ANODIZING FACILITIES

(Adopted May 16, 1991, Amended December 17, 1992)

1.0 Purpose

The purpose of this rule is to limit emissions of hexavalent chromium to the atmosphere from the following sources: hard chrome plating, decorative chrome plating, and chromic acid anodizing. Recordkeeping requirements, test methods, and a compliance schedule are included.

2.0 Applicability

The provisions of this rule shall apply to any facility that uses hexavalent chromium for the following operations: hard chrome plating, decorative chrome plating, and chromic acid anodizing.
