METHOD SUMMARY

These categories include the fugitive TOG emissions for 1987 from pumps, compressors, and well heads associated with active wells.

ACTIVITY DATA SOURCE: The data for these sources are from the California Division of Oil and Gas (DOG) and represent 1987.

EMISSION FACTOR SOURCE: The emission factors are from a report by KVB, Inc., "Emission Characteristics of Crude Oil Production Operations in California" (January 1983).

TEMPORAL DATA:

  The annual, weekly, and daily activities are uniform throughout the year, seven days a week, and twenty-four hours a day.

DATE OF THE LAST UPDATE: January 1989

GROWTH PARAMETER:

  Dollar output for oil and gas extraction (SIC 13). (SJVUAPCD parameter is based on barrels of oil.)
