On August 26, 2008, a case was settled with C.B. Fleet Company for selling non-compliant Summer’s Eve Feminine Deodorant Spray.  This company did not comply with the Annual Reporting Requirements in the Consumer Product Regulation for the explanation of date codes.  The product also made references on the labels which made them subject to the Personal Fragrance Product Category.  These products contained concentrations of VOCs exceeding the 75 percent limit for Personal Fragrance Products specified in Title 17, CCR, Section 94509(a).  The company paid $6,250 in penalties to settle the case.
