Hendrickson Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $19,875

In December, 2011 Hendrickson Trucking Inc. agreed to pay $19,875 in penalties; $14,906.25 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $4,968.75 to Peralta Community College District, for violating air quality regulations.

An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Hendrickson Trucking Inc. failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission standards.ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle the case, Hendrickson Trucking Inc. agreed to the $19,875 penalty and to comply with the PSIP and other ARB programs.
