On April 19, 2017, the California Air Resources Board settled a Consumer Products case with Lifeworks Technology Group for selling, supplying or offering for sale a non compliant pressurized gas duster product between June 2015 and August 2015.  This product, iHome Compressed Air Duster, exceeded the 1% volatile organic compounds (VOC) limit for the “Pressurized Gas Duster” category and resulted in 1.2 tons of excess VOC emissions.  In addition, the iHome Compressed Air Duster product did not display a required date of manufacture as specified in 17 CCR 94512(b)(1).  Lifeworks Technology Group has agreed to pay $19,950.00 to settle this case.
