$1,000 in Fines Paid by Shred-it USA

This page finalized May 4, 2008

In July 2008 Shred-it USA paid $750 in penalties to CAPCF and $250 to the College of Alameda for violating air quality regulations. An investigation by ARB showed that Shred-It USA failed to properly self-inspect their diesel fleet to insure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations related to PSIP. To settle this case, Shred-It USA agreed to pay the $1,000 penalty and to comply with PSIP and other ARB regulations.
