On November 27, 2007, Xzilion, Inc. entered into a settlement agreement with ARB and paid $9,800 to resolve the violations of the Consumer Products Regulations. During 2005, Xzilion sold, supplied, and offered for sale in California the Xzilion Molecular Adhesion product subject to the VOC limits for automotive waxes, polishes, sealants, or glazes in Title 17, CCR, § 94509(a). This product failed to meet the 15 percent VOC limit. The company also failed to clearly display on the container a date of manufacture or code indicating a date, and failed to file an explanation for the code indicating the date of manufacture.
