CCDET Class Schedule

The California Council on Diesel Education and Technology provides one-day training courses on the Heavy Duty Vehicle Inspection Program (HDVIP) and Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP), and on Diesel Exhaust After-Treatment and Maintenance for fleet and other heavy duty diesel maintenance personnel. Fees for CCDET classes are $175.00 per class.
HDVIP/PSIP COURSE (CCDET I):
CCDET I is a one day course for fleet managers and owners covering basic smoke emissions troubleshooting and repair, current emissions regulations, hands-on training on the correct administration of the SAE J1667 Snap Acceleration Smoke Test Procedures for Heavy-Duty Diesel Powered Vehicles, and the importance of service and maintenance.
DIESEL EXHAUST AFTER-TREATMENT AND MAINTENANCE COURSE (CCDET II):
CCDET II is a one-day course for fleet managers and owners that discusses current diesel exhaust after-treatment technology including diesel particulate filters (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems as well as hands-on shop exercises designed to reinforce service and preventative maintenance procedures.
Please register for classes early to ensure a spot, and to ensure that classes are not cancelled due to possible low enrollment.
