| Comment | If the Board sees fit to put thousands of Blue Collar families into
unemployment lines because they're unwilling to make reasonable
adjustments to their regulatory implementation timeline, I really
hope i see exactly zero Megayachts within any Californian bay or
harbor. It would make zero sense for the Board to wipe out an
industry which provides affordable fresh seafood to Californians
who cannot afford their own boats, while allowing the richest
people on earth to continue their emissions orgy in the form of
floating palaces equipped with helicopters, submarines and full
size swimming pools. Yup. Swimming pools on a friggin boat. Not to
mention private planes!
I strongly request the board give this vital, beloved industry more
time to adapt to your near-impossible new standards, and maybe
spend their time going after the people actually destroying our
environment, not the people putting food on their tables and making
a living in concert with nature.
