I am the president of a local fishing club in Oceanside. Many of
our club members are retired and on fixed incomes. Some fish every
week. The price of licenses, bait and tackle have already gone up.
The cost of a trip ticket has increased 20-25% from last year!
Many sportfishing boat operators have older boats in their fleet.
Most boats wouldn't be able to be retrofitted with new systems. The
 cost of purchasing new boats would be prohibitive; and no trade-in
value like cars and trucks. I'm sure these new regulations would
more than double the operators' costs. Additional costs  and fees
would get passed on to us. This would force most boat operators out
of business. It would be the end of this sport for young and old as

we know it today. Please consider us and choose another option. Ray
