I am appalled to learn that California is contributing to rain
forest destruction in exchange for oil. This is hypocritical to say
the least as Calfornia has the toughtest auto emmission standards
in the country. CA fought the previous administration to keep those
standards. Climate change and protection can not happen if fossil
fuels aren't phased out. Destruction of the rain forest is
destruction of indigenous people along with never to be replaced
flora and fauna. California does not need to help destroy planet
earth.
