This is a terribly misguided approach to mitigating air pollution
and this one-sized fits all approach is not feasible, I do not
support this effort at all:

#1- the Lithium Ion battery industry is unreliable, dangerous and
constantly suffers from supply chain issues.

#2- why require undeveloped and unproven engine technology that
does not yet exist?

#3- go back to the drawing board and work with the small passenger
vessel industry to come up with a better solution.

#4- as someone who has a degree in environmental studies, I am
beginning to loose faith in the environmental movement in
California because it has become so drastic, one-sided misguided
and unwilling to think outside the box. This approach backfires and
now we see the result... common sense in pushing back!
