It seems like middle ground is achievable with Tier 3 engines for
the sport-fishing fleet. Doing something less than this,
unfortunately, will kill the industry in San Diego and create even
more divisiveness in a country that really needs to come together.


So, PLEASE, give the fleet a chance. I'll note that Mexico is
likely salivating as the legislation will push the industry south
of the boarder where you have NO jurisdiction. Again, please keep
the industry alive, vibrant, here and regulated. Just reasonably
so.
