To Whom It May Concern: 

    As a lifetime California angler I was pretty shocked to hear
about the impending regulations regarding emissions that CARB is
trying to implement. They are unreasonable and unrealistic and will
result in the demise of an entire industry that provides
Californians with access to our ocean for food and recreation.
Decimating this industry will have a ripple effect that will impact
many lives and businesses resulting in yet another loss of revenue
for the State. People are already leaving the state in record
numbers due to the government's desire to turn the state into a
giant Eco Park so I implore you to PLEASE not make things worse!
Clean air is a worthy goal but not at the expense of an entire
sector of the economy who's contribution to making California a
great place to live far outweighs it's extremely minor Carbon
Footprint. Please find a better solution!
