The proposed rule would put a unnecessary cost on a industry mainly
run by small mom and pop businesses. The requirements were
implemented on the trucking industry and showed zero measurable
results but costed thousands and put small owner operators out of
business. This measure will do the same for the boating industry.
It will show no measurable results but damage thousands of small
business owners. Please consider do these measures you are
proposing actually produce results in the real world or do they
just show good stats on paper and is the reward worth the risk.
