As a California resident, I am horrified to learn just how much
oil we source from the Amazon.  The Amazon is an extremely
fragile ecosystem whose health is vital to the planet's
health.  It is also home to indigenous communities that suffer
due to our sourcing so much oil from them.  Please reduce
California's use of Amazon oil to source our energy - it's
especially important not to source - and therefore support - crude
from new Amazon drilling sites.
