I support many of the important changes necessary to protect our
environment and stop the negative environmental changes that have
occurred from the use of fossil fuels but those decisions need to
be tempered by the impact it will have on certain businesses that
would be destroyed by certain regulatory changes as the commercial
harbor craft regulation changes will impose. This is not supporting
local business and will essentially destroy the sport fishing
market in Southern California. You need to come up with better
solutions that keep small business running and our angler community
able to sports fish affordably. Just take a look what the impact
has been on the independent trucking industry and our supply chain!
Make the right decision for our community and come up with a
workable solution moving forward that doesn't destroy the market
place.
