| Comment | Dear CARB,
I wish to state my objection to your proposed cap and trade plan.
California today faces high unemployment close to 12%, budget
deficits and an exodus of jobs from our state.
CARB itself estimates that cap and trade, if implemented,
represents a $150 billion energy tax. Our struggling economy most
certainly cannot afford more lost jobs due to a crushing
self-imposed energy tax of this magnitude.
Your continued disregard for the plight of our state is frustrating
and hurting the people whom you are appointed to serve.
