| Comment | The Biofuel Oasis was an early pioneer in biofuels both in the bay
area and throughout the country.
It is an all women owned business that has been serving thousands
of customers for many years and enabling them to make the choice
to run cleaner burning biodiesel in their vehicles.
These women literally invested their life savings to start this
fueling station at great personal risk because the market for
biodiesel at the time had not been established.
The Biofuel Oasis has outgrown the current space it occupies:
there are often long lines of cars waiting to fill up at the
station which causes traffic problems on the local streets.
The Biofuel Oasis needs a very reasonable amount of money to
enable them to move to a new location on a major throughfare in
Berkeley with existing infrastructure that will allow them to be
open during extended hours.
I'm writting to urge to to please ensure that the Biofuel Oasis
gets the money they need and deserve as part of the $25 million
alternative fuels incentive.
Best Regards,
Daniel Sherwood
