I was born in San Diego and lived my entire life near the ocean. 
Deep sea fishing is one of California's treasures and something my
family and I have enjoyed for years.  Nothing abusive or anything,
just pleasurable fishing experiences.  If this passes, and rates go
up as indicated, I won't fish for pleasure any longer, at least in
California waters.  Alaska, Oregon, Washington State, as well as
Mexico, all offer great fishing at reasonable rates.  I'm already
fed up enough with California with their rules, regulations, taxes
and (pardon my language) bullshit, that this would/will be the
final straw for me.  I'll take my life and my dollars elsewhere.
