The sportfishing industry is struggling and has been for many
years.  CARB can effectively eliminate the entire industry with
strict regulations on these boats.  This is unacceptable.  CARB's
work is important but the responsibility to the people that work on
these boats, the people that fish on these boats, and the future
kids and adults that will fish on these boats is important too. 
Sportfishermen and their dollars that they spend on license and
equipment funds important conservation efforts.  I urge CARB to use
common sense and not knee jerk environmentalism in their search for
new regulations for an industry that has little impact on the
overall environment to begin with.
