Please do not pass this and require boats to scrap! This is a way
of life, our livelihood! My family relies on the sports fishing
industry to put food on the table. This is also a huge hit to
tourism. Why is this necessary?! It's not! It's about money and
politics, while not taking into account the amount of fisherman
that will be on unemployment and the amount of families that will
be on welfare and broke if this happens including my own. Don't do
this! There's barely any positives to this, other than politicians
and corporate pockets being lined.
