As a recreational sports fisherman of 30 plus years, I urge you to
consider the economic impact beyond just the boats in question.
There is a domestic industry for rods, reels, clothing etc that
will be impacted. Tackle stores & bait shops would also be
impacted.
While the environment & safety are paramount, the honoring &
enforcement of those standards are the issue.
