| Comment | I devoted 35 years on the bench in service to the people of the State of California My hope was to enjoy my retirement by fishing and enjoying whale watching with my children and grandchildren. Imagine my sadness at learning that all opportunity could be lost for my family and so many others because of regulations that are well meaning but misguided because the technology is not yet in existence to implement the regulations without prohibitive cost. The providers of fishing and whale watching have struggled through Covid. Please do not put an economic noose around their neck. Please look long term as you consider this regulation and save the hardworking small businesses that are the bedrock of this tax generating sport and industry. |
